So I guess I haven't been too good at this blogging thing yet, but maybe I'll get better this semester (one can dream, right?)
As I sit here eating mashed potatoes in my bed after my first day of class for my second semester, I realize how blessed I am. 2012 was certainly a bit of a crazy year, what with graduating with my bachelor's degree and then moving over 1000 miles away to live on my own for the first time while pursuing my master's degree. While some might think I was crazy for up and coming here, I know that I am exactly where God wanted me. I get to do the most important thing of my life thus far, go to grad school, while meeting new people and experiencing a different part of the world when I'm just 22. I can't ask for anything more.
On the speech side of things, I am going to get a lot of clinic hours this semester! I know this will be a great learning experience but I know I'll get stressed soon. Oh well, I'll make it through :)
Stitching wise, last semester I finished a Precious Moments lap quilt for my mom! That was my biggest stitching project to date. I started a table runner for Mitch's mom for Christmas, but that didn't get done with all the hustle and bustle. Looking to finish that within the month and start on some more exciting projects. Definitely is a great stress reliever for me.
Here's to hoping 2013 is just as great as 2012!
